Founded in January 2008, civiside.com was created to help connect military reservists with employers that will support their military career. The mission has grown since and we now serve all veterans and active service personnel in their post-military career search.
The Guaranteed Interview Program
The idea for the Guaranteed Interview Program was sparked at an April 2010 CEO networking event by Tim Hogarth of Pioneer Petroleums. Tim asked of his fellow CEO's "Is there something that we can do to help our veterans find work?" The 18 CEOs unanimously agreed that they wanted to help. Ty Shattuck, CEO of PV Labs, told the group that he knew of someone working on a solution for this problem and would get in touch. Ty then sent a message to Ken Seville, founder of Civiside.com. When Ty and Ken met, the idea of guaranteeing an interview came up and Ken went to work on refining the idea and assembling the founding partners for the program. By October 2010, Pioneer Petroleum, and PV Labs were signed as The Founding Partners of the Guaranteed Interview Program.
